Heath One of GQ: Australia's Men of the Year
During an award ceremony in Sydney, AUS on March 4th, Heath was announced as one of GQ: Australia's Men of the Year. He accepted the award with a recorded message from the US, where he was on filming commitments. His message included apologies for not being able to be at the event and that he was excited to be going home to promote Ned Kelly. Other winners included, Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns (performing artist/ silverchair frontman); Lleyton Hewitt (sportsman); Peter Morrissey (fashion designer); Tropfest founder John Polson (entrepreneur); Salt restaurant owner Luke Mangan (chef); Jamie Durie (TV personality). Heath has graced the cover and is the subject of a 7 page spread for the magazine. Note: If any fans in Oz get their hands on that article and would be so kind as to pass it our way...*wink, wink* :)
Heath signed on for new projects?
It has been reported that Heath has signed on -- next to Matt Damon, Robin Williams, and Jonathan Pryce -- to play Jake Grimm, the eldest brother of the famous Brothers Grimm. The film is very loosely based on the real lives of the duo, who wrote some of the world's most classic fairytales. Filming is due to start in June 2003 in Prague, Czech Republic.
